-Princess1: Mirabelle Elizabeth Gabrielle Sophia Christiana, Her Royal Highness Princess Mirabelle (10)
-Princess2: Rosalia Beatrice Alexandra Petronilla Grace, Her Royal Highness Princess Rosalia (8)
-Prince3: Lucian Arthur Christopher Rashid William, His Royal Highness Prince Lucian (6)

-DPrince5: Henry Walter Darius Sebastian Adam, His Royal Highness Prince Henry (nb)
Of the Royal House of Damrys, of the kingdom of Ardia.
Scandal has threatened to tear the kingdom apart. Lords Thierry and Rolf, enemies of the queen since Princess Rosalia's birth and the appointment of the female councilors, used her latest pregnancy to try and destroy her. They claimed that the queen had been unfaithful, had in fact been carrying on an affair with a valet she brought with her from her home, a young man called Richard. They claim that the child she carries is not the king's own progeny, but the bastard child of this valet. They point to the queen's vocal support of Lady Philippa's law proposal as evidence, stating no honest wife and mother would want a law that would remove all stability of marriage, that she wanted it passed so that she could divorce the king and demand money. Their basis for claiming the child is not the kings? They claim the child was concieved a month earlier than the queen claims, when the king had spent almost the entire month away inspecting a military outpost. They claim she began to show too early and grew too large for the child to have been fathered during the time she says, though everyone can see she looks exactly the same as she has at the same stages in her other pregnancies.
Elizabeth is not surprised that they have tried something to defame her, but she is angry that it is aimed at her child--the child she knows full well to be Christopher's, as she has never shared a bed with anyone else. As for the valet, she knows for a fact that he is not interested in bedding her, or any woman for that matter (he would in fact be more likely to carry a torch for the king than for her) Christopher is absolutely furious at this slander against his beloved wife. He does not believe a word of it, even for a moment, and he has finally removed Thierry and Rolf from the council, replacing them with women. The people have a strong faith and trust in their beloved and beautiful queen, and hardly anybody believes her to be unfaithful. Even most of those who do not like her policies or her influence and are uncomfortable with such a strong woman with so much power do not think her unfaithful--they claim she is not that stupid.
Christopher and Elizabeth are worried. They are worried about what affect hearing their mother defamed will have on their children. Mira especially is old enough to understand what the queen is being accused of, and she has a vague sense of what it would mean in a larger sense. Rose and Luke are only old enough to relize that people are saying bad things about their mother, which makes them afraid. None of them believe their mother did anything wrong, and Mira has offered to tell everyone that and to remind them of all the ways that Mother has been a good queen. Both have assured her that it is not necessary, that no one really believes that mother did anything wrong, not even the people who accuse her. But they are pleased with her initiative and courage. Christopher has been watching his eldest daughter with the eye of a king, not just the eye of a father, and he is very pleased with what he sees. Mira is a natural-born leader, strong-willed and confident. She is not shy and, though she is so young, tries very hard to never let fear of something stop her from doing it. She is also very studious, a very dedicated worker, and has a compassion and genuine love for people. This is in stark contrast to Luke, his de facto heir, who though a very sweet and loving boy is very shy and hates being in front of people. Tradition dictates that the heir is officially named Crown Prince on his thirteenth birthday, and Christopher is thinking of doing something drastic.
The month that Thierry and Rolf set for the queen's actual time to give birth came and went. Then so did most of the month that the queen and physicians had predicted. Finally, nearly two months after Rolf and Thierry claimed, a son was born--one with auburn hair, pale skin, and looking so much like the king that no one could deny it. All doubt vanished from the mind of those who had believed, and Thierry and Rolf were put on trial for treason and conspiring against the crown. They named the baby the name they had planned, Henry, Then they named him Walter, after Christopher's father, and Darius, after Christpher hiself. Sebastian and Adam are in honor of two lords who were most vocal in their support of the queen.
