I adore Zoya! It was on my long list, but I've got so many female names and so few male ones, that it got pushed down a bit. Here I'd have to use the spelling Zoja, but in an English-speaking country I'd use Zoya.Iva is ok, but it was very popular in my generation so I'm a bit tired of it.
Love it! Zoya is awesome! I like the look of Zoja, but where I live people would probably pronounce it either zo-jah or zo-ha.i like Iva as well, as long as your last name isn't a noun! Iva Carr, Iva Gardner, yeah, too many joke opportunities.
I like it. I prefer Zoya. Last month my husband's cousin was expecting a baby and I dreamt she had a daughter called Zoya or Zoia. (In the event she had a little girl called Frieda.)
