As far as sound goes, I think Threnody could work as a name. It could be particularly effective in naming a baby after a parent or other close relative who has recently died, especially if used in conjunction with the deceased's name. It might be a bit of a heavy first name to carry for a real person (fictional characters may be able to pull it off), so it would probably go best as a middle name.It would be an odd name, but not necessarily a bad one. It certainly is a more creative word name than most.
