[Facts] Poll and Open Letter to Mike C. re. Elaine.
I'm really trying to be good Mike, but as you can see below, Elaine really is a crazyass. :) She seems to have this irrational urge to keep attacking the newbie who gave her kid the name to which Elaine objects so strongly. The newbie, Jessa, hasn't been back since Elaine started all this crap, and I find that very sad.
Jessa, if you're reading this, please don't judge this board by Elaine's actions. Nobody here, except Elaine, thinks you've been "abusive" to your child. That is simply ridiculous.
Elaine has so far contributed nothing of value to this message board. She offers nothing constructive, informative, or entertaining to this board. Well, unless you count her crazyass ranting as being entertaining, I guess. But even that's starting to become tiresome and boring.
Elaine obviously has a deep-seated emotional problem which prevents her from interacting with others in a rational manner. I don't know what the heck may have happened to her as a child which caused her to grow up into such an unpleasant individual, but hey, I'm not her psychiatrist. Frankly, I don't care what her damage is.
I hate the thought that Elaine's craziness is starting to dominate this message board. Are you sure she's still welcome here?
I dunno. What does everyone else here have to say about it? Shall we take a poll?

I don't know what others think, but I believe Elaine shoulda taken a left at the inverse-Sixth Dimensional portal and got lost there instead of here.
If the original poster's daughter hasn't had any problems with her name, then why the hell should some stranger berate her? For one thing, its easy for teachers and other students to remember. For another, it's easy to translate into other languages so people who can't quite figure out some names floating around (like Xerephofgenie?) could find themselves having a much easier time conversing with Six. She (Six) could have a future career as a member of the Diplomatic Corps. :)

Wass wrong with Xerephofgenie?? :P

Nothing's wrong with it, it's just that the name's so damn difficult to remember, whereas Six, even professors dealing with close to 900 students could remember the name. :D @~ ?

@@@@ Well, I've got a theory on that. See, Elaine claimed to have been the victim of bullies as a child. Only (and if this was indeed true), Elaine never learned from that experience not to be a bully, herself. See, Jessa never came back at Elaine to swat her down for her rudeness. So Elaine smelled an easy victim in Jessa, and just kept attacking her. Again and again and again.
Check it out. Count the number of times Elaine posted her nastiness to Jessa -- without any answer at all from Jessa to even give Elaine a rational reason for coming back and posting time and again.
Elaine is the one who is the real bully, I have to tell you. And it gives me intense personal satisfaction to kick a bully in the tuchis. :)
And now, let us give thanks to Mike C., who has caused the Angel of Stupidity to passover our message board.
Kinda gives an added, special meaning to this holiday week that we both share in, eh, Phyllis? ;)

The chick's from an alternate universe. Beam "Alien E" back up to the Mother Ship!
Wow! What did I miss this weekend?? I take back what I said about leaving. I'm sticking around for this!
I completely agree with you, Nan. And BTW, got a kick out of your quizzes. Elaine obviously has some issues. No doubtly she is in an asylum and for her "fun" time she gets to play with a computer. Not a good idea. This woman has some serious problems. Everyone pray that she not reproduce. What a scary thought. :0 I'm with you all the way on kicking her to the curb. Elaine sweetheart, don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out. :P

The comic relief is now wearing off. Throw her to the lions.
Being kitties at heart, lions will extensively *play* with their prospective food before determining if its fit for eating. I'm only proposing to provide entertainment, not food :)

What do you have against lions?

I'll give her this--she had my 75-year-old Spanish-speaking grandmother(who was visiting yesterday) in hysterics! "Elena Loca" was apparently much more entertaining than the Springeresque daytime talk shows on Telemundo that she normally watches. She kept saying "Viva Nanaea!" after reading her replies:). So, Elaine, I'd have to agree with Nana Josefina(and everyone else) on this one: don't let the puerta smack you on the nalgas on the way out;)!

Nana Josefina rocks!
I looooove your Nana Josefina, and I haven't even met her! Did she really say "Viva Nanaea"? :) And did you have to translate all that stuff into Spanish for her? Coz that would've been quite interesting in itself. :)
And, I'm going to remember that line: "Don't let the puerta smack you on the nalgas on the way out." LOL! Too cool, Melissa. :)
"Elena Loca"... Heheheh. :)

Yep, she really said it. She's a trip;). The translating part wasn't as tedious as it sounds--she was reading over my shoulder, and she actually reads English pretty well, it's just speaking it that's hard for her. She was still laughing about it when she got home, I guess--my grandfather was impressed that I managed to find something to distract her from her Mexican soap operas;)!
Your grandmother is cute! :) Give her this hug from Nanaea:
