[Facts] Evthokia
I'm wondering about the meaning of Evthokia. The woman that has it has a Greek background.

The Latinized form of the name is in the database: http://www.behindthename.com/name/eudocia but I'm pretty sure the meaning is not exactly right. It says that it means "to seem well" from "ev" = good, well and "doko" = to seem but "doko" means believe, appear (in a dream), guess, hope, imagine, have an opinion etc. In a Greek site I found the etymology that seems more accurate to me: Evthokia (Ευδοκία)= To have a good opinion/belief.
Other transliteration of Evthokia is Evdokia.

This is true: the ancient verb "doko" (δοκέω-δοκώ) means many things, like: think, guess, imagine, appear to be, give the impression...
Here, it seems to have the two last meanings and, combined with ev(=good): Evthokia is a woman for whom people have a good opinion, a woman who has a good rumour, let's say. :)

Otherwise: Enjoying approval. From εὖ (eu), good, and δόκησις (dokesis), an opinion.
