[Opinions] Re: Abigail
Aw, Abigail is so wholesome and sweet. I like it. Sadly, I knew an Abbie (full name) who was horrible to me, so I could never use it myself. I prefer Abigail in full since I don't like Abbey and Gail is so dated. I knew of an Abigail who used Aila--from the last 3 letters of the name--as a nickname. An unusual nn was how her mother made peace with the popularity* of Abigail and Abby. It's not the most "natural" nickname, but it's another possiblity. Neither of your combos work for me. Abigail Michelle has too much L, and Abigail Gwendolyn has too much G. Don't really have any combos, though, so I'll think about that. *Abigail is one of those names whose popularity I have a hard time believing. Despite the fact that it's spent over a decade in the Top 25 (currently #6 in my state), I never, never meet any. Where are they all hiding???
