Are you in Australia? I've seen a school named Aquina when I was there. But I pronounce them differently. Aquina=ah-KEE-na, Aquinnah=ah-KWINN-a.
The place I saw was pronounced ah-KEE-na (the school, I mean). But Aquinnah is definitely ah-KWIN-a to me. Yes, it's native American.
