I've really come to like Isolde too, I don't know how you are pronouncing it but I like to pronounce it EE-zohld like they did in the new 'Tristan & Isolde' movie. It was actually seeming the trailer for that movie that made me start liking Isolde! :)
If we thought that names related with these kind of stories made them depresing then we wouldn't love Juliet as much as many of we on the boards seem to! :)

That's how I like it pronounced as well! I also like it pronounced i-ZOL-de. Also, the commercials for that movie were what made me start liking it!
