After siding with the families in favor of magic, Aladdin and Jasmine turned to their friend the Genie regarding the future. The Genie, not a Seer in anyway, brought them to a Seer named Veda. Veda informed Aladdin and Jasmine that, though she was not authorized to discuss the outcome of debate, that the tension would cease upon meeting the child Jasmine was going to give birth to. When she was born, the family realized why: their daughter was the most gorgeous infant in the land. They broke naming traditions (for up until now, all members of their families had Arabic names) and granted her a name meaning "most beautiful." Veda expects great things from Calista, stating that her beauty will help the family in some way. Seers are incredibly vague...
