[Opinions] Re: Annie Nicknames
in reply to a message by PrincessLeia
All of your names are terrific, but Anneke is my favorite. Despite that "k" in there I get the softest feeling from the name Anneke. I just adore it.
Other ideas:
Antigone, Annunziata, Calanthe, Antonia / Antonella / Antonina / Antoinette, Julianne, Amanda, Leandra, Lysandra, Cassandra, Alexandra / Alessandra, Anna / Annabel / Anne / Anouk / Anais / Hannah / Annetilde / Nancy, Samantha, Melanie, Amarantha, Constance / Constanza / Constantia, Blanche / Blanchefleur, Danielle / Daniela / Daniella, Danica, Annabeth, Sanchia / Sanxia, Anastasia, Susannah / Suzanne, Rhiannon, Alannah, Shannon, Jeanne ("zhan" rhymes with Jan, Ann, man etc.), Andrea, Angela / Angelica, Grace / Graciela (Anne means grace), Eglantine, Xanthe, Iolanthe, Angharad, Anthea ("AN-thee-uh"), Anwen.
Some of these are more obvious than others. I erred on the side of inclusion rather than exclusion. I hope there's something in here for you to ponder. :-)
