[Opinions] Bess or Betsy?
Replies
I prefer Betsy but I'm biased.
Both are nice, but I think I slightly prefer Bess. It's just so sweet and simple.
Bess
I dearly love both, but Bess is my favorite.
Betsy is all pig-tailed, freckle-faced cuteness, but Bess feels like a nn that can be worn for a lifetime.

They're both OK and I like both of these about the same, but I really love Bessie. It's way better than either of these.
Betsy! - its so sweet !
Betsy has a lively, cheerful air about it which the more ponderous Bess lacks, and it's my choice for sure.
That said, my lively, cheerful mother was nicknamed Bess by one of her friends. It never caught on, but she didn't mind at all. And I was at school with a grim Betsy who had a towering ego for no good reason, so nothing proves anything.

Ooo I love Betsy! I like Bess too but comparatively I think Betsy is much spunkier... a bit of a rebel
I guess I feel exactly opposite of sambchop, lol. Bess strikes me as older, softer and more demure while Betsy is loud, fun and unapologetic. Designer Betsy Johnson probably has something to do with this image, not to mention I went to school with a couple Betsys - one of which was a soft ball girl with a great sense of humour, the other was more of a "goth" alternative girl who spoke her mind
