this name was created for my uncle nicholas bonte gelok. he is the brother of anthonius hubertus gelok,my father, whos mother, my grandmother, anna katrina van goethem gelok passed away just after childbirth. He (nick) was adopted out by his father, Adrian Gelok (who was in the royal dutch army at the time) to a family "bonte" . thus he got to keep his original last name of gelok and added on the adoption surname of bonte to create "
Bontegelok". He moved his family to Canada in the early 1950's and resided here until his death in welland on. He was a licenced machinist. Married to Whilomena and their children are, henk, frances, suzanne, nick, casey & john.
