Help[Opinions] Destry
I liked this name a long time ago which is why I registered under it :P I didn't like it for a long time, but now it's starting to grow on me again. What do you think? I like it for a girl. Destry is also the name of Steven Spielberg's daughter who was named after the classic western movie Destry Rides Again. WDYT?

I'm not a huge fan. I didn't know it was a classic western movie, that could end up changing my impression of it. For now it seems sort of made-up-to-be-pretty-tacky/trashy. I did work with one in college for a little bit who was probably a couple years younger than me, and I've encountered one other Destry at some point in time.

It looks like someone misspelled 'destroy' It'd be a bit nicer if spelled 'Destri', but only for that association. Other, than that, it doesn't sound too awful. Not something I particularly like, but it's okay.

I can't say I like it much, sorry. It looks like an amalgamation of Destiny and Dusty, two names I really dislike.

Cool! I like it, but mostly for a boy. It reminds me of destrier.

The sound of it is not so bad. But it looks like the word "destroy" to me. That's all I see and I can't get it out of my head. A totally different association, but the more I say it the more it reminds me of Destiny - which I don't like. I guess I'm not a fan, sorry.
