Maire, Mair, Marie, and Miriam are my favorites.
Let's see... I have 2 Great-Aunt Marys, one born in the 30s and one in the 40s. I've known at least 3 Marys around my mom's age, so born in the 50s. And I knew one Mary a little older than me, born in the early 80s. I think that's it.
I've known 1-2 Maries my age and no Marias.
