I don't care for Amelie. Reminds me of the movie, and the Am-uh-lee pronunciation makes me think "animal"
Melanie is a favorite of mine and yes, it's sort of dated, but has been steadily used so that isn't a big deal IMO.
I like Natalie but not Natalia (sounds stuckup) or Nathalie (silent H throws me).
