The royal advisors are, of course, thrilled that Theodosia has been able to bear the King two more children, and SINGLE births, much more desirable for when a successor to King Gideon must be appointed. Theodosia and Maude still have their little quarrels, but things are getting better as Maude gets older, and starts to realise just what a position her father and step-mother were in. Things between Gideon and Theodosia have improved also. They've learned to love and be with each other, and Gideon is truly very fond of his queen now. Theodosia is delighted to be with such a kind, gentle King.. she had feared that he would be scary and rude. The Kingdom is at peace, but Gideon is still on high alert. He has his ten children to protect, after all.
