I prefer Casper. I want to pronounce Caspar differently, really emphasizing the second syllable. I don't know if that's correct or not though.

I actually read the topic in my head as "kas-PAR" or "KAS-per".

See I say them slightly different too but my husband doesn't and he thinks most people will say them pretty close to the same way. ?

I want to say kas-PAR, which seems awkward but it doesn't look anything like Casper (KAS-pur) to me.
