I love Ada. It's so sweet and nostalgic. Very charming. It can stand on its own, but makes a nice nn for Aleydis too.
I once used Ada as a mn suggestion and someone pointed out that it made the whole combination sound like, "fn ate a surname." I had to agree. So Ada is out as a mn. But as a fn it doesn't have that problem, as long as the surname isn't a funny sounding noun. I wouldn't want to go through life as "Ada Peach." :-P
