Winnie and Dan found out that Winnie was a month into her second pregnancy--though Dan's first child--on the eve of their wedding. They wanted so badly to keep this a secret from the public as long as they could. After Winnie showed up in public with Emmy, the news was buzzing with stories about this and lots of questions arose: How could the public not know? Where was the girl for the first four years of her life? Why did Winnie keep her hidden from the public? Will the child be as talented as her mother? Etc. Etc. Etc. It rather frustrated and irritated Winnie, which is why this decision was made.
When Winnie was seven months pregnant, the news was finally leaked to the public. By none other than Dan's own mother! She was so excited that when the press came by to interview her on how she thought the marriage between her son and daughter-in-law was going now that six months had passed. The first thing she said was: "Well, they're certainly excited and lovey-dovey. I'm going to be a grandmother!" After that... well, after that the news was everywhere.
After the press found out about Winnie's pregnancy, they were all over her. She would go out to buy groceries and people would rush up to her asking questions! Eventually, she started going out only when necessary.
And then one day while she--now eight months pregnant--and Dan and Emmy were out at the park, a big fan of Winnie's--a seven year old girl name Erin Olivia Tussock, as she kindly introduced herself--sat beside Winnie as Dan pushed Emmy on the swings. As Winnie and Erin were talking, Winnie's contractions start hitting her. Erin, knowing all about Winnie, raced over to Dan, calling, "Mr. T! Mr. T! She's gettin' ready! She's gettin' ready!" Dan raced Winnie to the hospital, where she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. They named him Aeron Oliver-Twist--after Erin Olivia Tussock (Aeron, Oliver) and the newest movie Winnie and Dan were in, Oliver, Oliver, Oliver: Dickens' Classic Tale Re-told (Oliver-Twist).
