I love
Aubrey, but only for a boy. There are so many choices for parents of little girls. I don't understand why they keep pinching traditional boy names. If it went in both directions I wouldn't mind so much. But it's a one way street and it bothers me.
Alberic and
Auberon are great too.
I do love
Audrey for a girl. Unfortunately, there will be a lot of confusion between
Audrey,
Aubrey,
Aubree,
Aubrie, Aubreigh, Ahbreey and any other weird spelling parents think is "unique."
Sorry to be such a downer. But these trends are pet peeves of mine.
