I already gushed a bit over Mary Elinor, so you know I love it. I also love the thought of it as a duplet, heard all the time, rather than something that's only yelled when she's in trouble. :)
Elinor is my favorite spelling. There's something about that "ea" in Eleanor that I don't like; it's as if it makes the center of the name too weighty. Elinor is elegant, shapely, steeped in Regency flavor, and it definitely delights me.
