[Games] Re: Wizarding Family CAF! (For Harry Potter Fans) - done!
LN: SnapeDH: Silvius John (half-blood, Curse Breaker at Gringotts, black wavy hair, dark blue eyes, Gryffindor, likes Potions, Quidditch Keeper, Prefect and Head Boy)
DW: Nydia Charlotte (Muggle-born, owns Obscurus Books at Diagon Alley, bleach blonde curly hair, dark brown eyes, Slytherin, likes History of Magic, doesn't play Quidditch, not Prefect, not Head Girl)Excuse me for a moment. *rolls over laughing at the results* It all started with the name Silvius John Snape, and now look at the results! It makes too much sense to be true, except for the little bit in which it seems Silvius' and Nydia's houses are the wrong way... or is it? *laughs hysterically*DS1: Lennox Remus (curly red hair, grey eyes, Ravenclaw, likes Potions, Quidditch Chaser, not Prefect, not Head Boy, graduates to become a Curse Breaker at Gringotts)All right, now Lennox shares a few glaring resemblances to his father. But that red hair? Wonder where the genes came from... *eyes Lily Evans suspiciously*(triplets)DD1: Matilda Proserpine (stright dirty blonde hair, light blue eyes, Slytherin, likes Transfiguration, Quidditch Keeper, Prefect, not Head Girl, grew up to be a Healer at St. Mungo's)
DD2: Elspeth Andromeda (wavy light brown hair, grey eyes, Ravenclaw, likes Herbology, Quidditch Seeker, not Prefect, not Head Girl, became a writer of "Muggle life" novels detailing the excitements and idiosyncrasies of life without magic)
DS2: Euandros Merlin (straight red hair, light brown eyes, Gryffindor, likes Defense Against the Dark Arts, doesn't play Quidditch, Prefect, not Head Boy, grew up as a writer of DADA-related books)Great, now we got not one, but two red-headed Snapes! Who'da thunk it? And the other redheaded Snape boy is in Gryffindor and into DADA, go figure. I think it's pretty much clear who Silvius' mother is by now. On the other hand, Elspeth seems like the perfect Ravenclaw.(twins)DS3: Sebastian Altair (straight dirty blonde hair, green eyes, Hufflepuff, likes Potions, doesn't play Quidditch, Prefect, not Head Boy, grew up to work at Dervish and Banges at Hogsmeade)
DD3: Isobel Cassandra (curly light brown hair, green eyes, Gryffindor, likes Transfiguration, Quidditch Keeper, Prefect, Head Girl, inherited her mother's shop at Diagon Alley as an adult)All right, first two redheads, now two with green eyes. I get it. That said, wonder why Potions is so popular in the family? Runs in the blood? And, funny how the twins have the same eye colour, similar hair colour, were both Prefects, and both grew up to inherit/operate stores.DS4: Urien Carroll (curly dark brown hair, grey eyes, Gryffindor, likes History of Magic, Quidditch Keeper and Captain, Prefect, not Head Boy, graduated and became a Healer at St. Mungo's)What's with the family and Welsh names? Also, funny how many Gryffindors we get. It's almost ironic, but then again, the father is a Gryffindor too...

Now without rambling commentary!

For want of a nail, the war was lost. And for want of a word, the world was changed.Severus Snape and Lily Evans survived their momentary rift during their school years. As they grew up, it became obvious that Severus' feelings were more than just brotherly, and in time he proposed to Lily. They had a happy marriage, but not all that is happy lasts long. Shortly after the birth of their son Silvius, Severus died in the First Wizarding War, losing his life in a desperate attempt to protect his wife and son from Voldemort. Frightened and devastated, Lily took the infant Silvius into hiding with her fellow members of the Order of the Phoenix. As years go by, the heartbreak healed, and in its place Lily found a second love in James Potter. They married shortly before Silvius' fourth birthday, and together they had a son, Harry. But this story isn't about Lily; it's about her first son, Silvius - or rather, of the family Silvius will grow up to have.At the age of eleven, Silvius entered Hogwarts and got promptly sorted into Gryffindor. With his lanky, pale build, dark eyes and hair, and interest with Potions, it was not a surprise that many people found it glaringly obvious that he was Severus Snape's son (except for his House, which some think is obviously just wrong). It was there that he first met Nydia Prewett, a Slytherin girl who disguises her Muggle-born identity with much gusto. They started out as simply having Potions class together - Nydia has great difficulty with Potions, and Professor Slughorn quickly assigned "little Snape" to help her sort out the difficulties. Their friendship was stable, but it was never particularly close. That is, until their sixth year. Silvius was, by then, a busy boy - besides his studies to attend to, he was Keeper for Gryffindor, not to mention a Prefect, and also Head Boy. The sheer amount of responsibilities on his back even made him wonder if it was not a contrived coincidence of some sort. It was at that time that Nydia started to grow feelings for Silvius, and to her surprise, he reciprocated. Years after their graduation, the two married, which was hardly a surprise to anyone at all.Their first son, Lennox, seemed to be the perfect child for them. With his dark red hair and little smile, Lennox was quick to become the favourite of his grandmother (and step-grandfather, and other step-family members). As he grew up, he became Chaser for Ravenclaw, got his hooked nose covered with Potions books, and ended up having the exact same job his father did. Unsurprisingly, some considered him the perfect "heir" to the Snape family legacy. The next birth was, surprisingly, a case of triplets! Matilda, Elspeth, and Euandros all grew up to be sorted into different Houses - Matilda into Slytherin, Elspeth into Ravenclaw, and Euandros into Gryffindor. And indeed, the three of them seemed to wish to emphasise and re-emphasise that they are three different people all the time. Matilda eventually became a Healer at St. Mungo's, while her two other twin-silbings both became writers (although they still insisted they were different: Elspeth wrote "fantasy Muggle romance novels" aimed at teenage witches, while Euandros wrote books about Defence Against the Dark Arts that eventually became textbooks).Next to come was a pair of twins, Sebastian and Isobel. Nydia was almost certain she isn't having any more children! Sebastian was the first Hufflepuff in the household, while Isobel found herself as yet another Gryffindor. But unlike their elder siblings, the twins were more eager to allow themselves to be viewed as a pair. And with their light hair and vivid green eyes, they do look similar (which Silvius found strange, considering they were certainly not identical twins and thus had no reason to look similar). Both Sebastian and Isobel became Prefects, and later, both operated stores - Sebastian at Hogsmeade, and Isobel taking over her mother's shop in Diagon Alley.Lastly to come (which was already a stretch, since Nydia had thought the twins would be the last) was another son, Urien. Urien was what his siblings like to joke as a living contradictory. He enjoyed the seemingly-endless History of Magic lessons, but he was also a dedicated Quidditch Keeper - so dedicated, in fact, that he was elected Captain of the Gryffindor team! As the years passed, Urien followed his father's footsteps to become Head Boy, and later on followed his sister Matilda to St. Mungo's, specialising mostly in Quidditch-related injuries.
