I like Julia Maia and her interesting parents and cousins. And it's nice to see Piers, even if he's not a baby.:)
If Jessie is British I'd be 99% certain she's a girl. Jesse isn't very common here, but I've never seen a boy with any other spelling.

Guys, help me out please: how is Vere pronounced? I'm probably saying totally wrong, but with my pronunciation, Jessie Vere ends up sounding like "J. Severe". A severe J... Hmmm. No, that can't be right, can it? ;-)

I rather like Jemima Elizabeth. To me, it sounds so... Mayflower-y. ;-)

I think it's pronounced VEER, like Veer (the Dutch form of Vera).
