Location: China
Alex and Ben are Americans living in China, both finding the culture fascinating.
1. Fire: There was a fire in the building we live in, luckily our stuff wasn’t damaged but we had to stay with friends for a few days.
2. This year we were involved in a car crash. I broke a leg and Ben broke a couple fingers
3. Injury: Ben fell off a ladder and this year it was his turn to have a broken leg.
4. Finally some good news, this year we welcomed our first child - a daughter. She has wavy brown hair and brown eyes. We named her Isabella Claire.

5. We love being parents and we wanted to help another child so we traveled to India where we adopted a 13 year old girl named Amala Parvati.

6. Soon after we got Amala we found out we were pregnant again - with twins! We doubled our daughters. This year our identical straight brown haired amber eyed daughters were born. They are named Hayley Rose and Jennifer Charlotte.

7. Right after the twins were born we got pregnant again, not on purpose but it happened so soon after Hayley and Jennifer’s first birthday they became big sisters to straight red haired, violet eyed Naomi Violet. Naomi looks just like her daddy.

8. We do not have good luck with fires. Luckily Ben was at work and Amala and Isabella were at school when the fire started and thank God the alarms went off. I had time to grab Hayley, Jenny, and Naomi and get out of the house. I’m so grateful that my husband and girls are safe.
9. We are thrilled to announce that we have a son, make that two sons. This year I gave birth to our first two sons. They, like our twin girls, are identical. It’s quite amazing to have two sets of identical twins. Our boys have straight red hair and beautiful blue eyes. We have named them Adam Nathaniel and Nicholas William.

10. For our tenth anniversary we travel back to the United States where we are from so our families can see our seven beautiful children.
11. While in America for our anniversary our parents watched the children for a week while we went to a bed and breakfast in Maine. That fun little week led to another pregnancy. So this year we had one more baby girl with straight blond hair and amber eyes. Her name is Paisley Anne.

12. We buy a little pygmy goat and the children name it Alfred.
13. Ben is laid off.
14. We travel back to America for a family reunion. The kids are thrilled to see their family again and everyone is very excited to meet Paisley.
15. We decided to adopt once more. This time we choose Japan and from there adopt a 2 year old set of identical twin boys. We pick names for them but decide that we would like a bit of their culture to remain so we pick Japanese names for the middle names. Our boys are named Joshua Kaede and Samuel Ren.

16. We go back to America again to visit our families and show off our beautiful children - all ten of them.
17. We travel back to the U.S. this year, meet up with our families, and take the kids to Disney World. It was a lot of fun.
18. We got pregnant - AGAIN! We now have an eleventh child, another girl. Our newest edition has straight brown hair and violet eyes. Her name is Joanna Zoey.
