[Opinions] Ophelie
What's your opinion on it? Is Ophelia better despite the "I feel ya" thing? Is Octavie better? Thnks!

It's beautiful. I prefer it to Ophelia, but I like Ophelia as well.Octavie is appealing, but I prefer Octavia, which I find absolutely gorgeous.

I think Ophelia is too heavy and over the top (plus the English pronounciation is unattractive), but with Ophélie but the heavy Oph- and the delicate -élie are so interesting together. I definitely prefer Ophélie! It's beautiful and kind of mysterious and gentle. I also like Ofelia/Ofélia. I prefer Octavie to Ophelia but Ophélie is my favourite. Octavie is dark green and serious and pretty in an completely different way to Ophélie.

I love Ophelia - I've never really heard 'I feel ya' when someone said it. Not as fond of Octavie. Ophelie is nice - the only issue is people may pronounce it different ways. I wasn't sure if it was o-FEE-lee or o-FEEL-ee or whatever until I read the pronunciation.

Oooh, Octavie is great! I actually like all three names, but it does bother me that Ophelia sound a bit like 'i feel ya'. Ophelie is a nice alternative - very pretty!

I never understood hearing "I feel ya" in Ophelia. It seems like a a bit of stretch to me. oaf-EE-lee-uh. I used to like it a lot, but it's fallen from my top names list. It's a good name (though perhaps a little too sophisticated). I think it's romantic.I don't particularly care for Ophelie or Octavie. There aren't many French -ie names I'm fond of; I only really like Elodie. I think it's because the -ie suffix works best with "springy" names, and Elodie is pretty bouncy. Octavie and Ophelie are comparatively heavy, if that makes any sense at all.
