Ben and Bianca weren't thrilled that the caves were a two day journey away because they knew it would be rough on Bianca and the baby, but they knew that it would be better than living on the beach. The journey was hard on Bianca, as she was well into the second trimester of pregnancy and didn't want to do anything to harm her baby, however Ben helped her as much as possible. Joel had asked Bianca to help teach the school, even though she didn't really have any experience, because it was the only job she could really do. Ben has noticed some of the others stuck on the island looking upon him with disdain and jealousy, especially since he's so close to Joel, he and Bianca got first selection of where they wanted their home and chose an area closer to a fresh water source and slightly larger than the other areas. Ben regrets that others aren't really fond of him, but he'll do whatever it takes to make the island a more comfortable home for Bianca and their upcoming baby.
