Right after we made an offer on a house, it burned down. We weren't moved in yet, which was good, but now we'll have to go house hunting again. It was such a bummer, we were sure it was the perfect house.

Year 2
Since Otto and I both have birthdays within a week of each other, and we were both turning 25, we decided to have a big birthday bash. Well actually, it was more of a birthday vacation. We traveled to Ireland. We had a great time.

Year 3
This year, we decided to take another vacation. This time, we went to Greece. Part of this vacation was to research for a fantasy I am currently writing about Ancient Greece.

Year 4
Otto had to travel to America this year for a confrence. He went, but since we had been traveling a lot recently, I stayed home. It was a great time to write with no interuptions.

Year 5
Again, we took another vacation. Otto and I love to travel and since we don't have children yet, it's a great time to travel because we probably won't be traveling much with young kids. We went to Brazil this time. I finished my story about Greece and Brazil has really inspired me. I am used to writing fantasy, but this time I'm going to write an adventure story that takes place in the Amazon. Brazil is my favorite place in the world.

Year 6
Otto's mother turned 50 this year and had a huge party. Otto has family in 17 different countries that all came to his mother's party. Otto was very excited to meet all his reletives he's never seen. It was a blast.

We were blessed this year with faternal twin boys - Henry Warren and Edward Frederick. Henry has curly red hair and green eyes - a miniture version of my dad - and Edward has curly brown hair and hazel eyes - my hair and Otto's mother's eyes. We are thrilled to have two sweet little children.

Year 8
The twins tured one this year, so we had a big party with our family living in Germany. Everyone thought the twins were adorable (which they are!). Edward was an early walker, so he's been walking for 3 months already, but Henry took his first steps at the party - a great place to learn how to walk. =)

Year 9
Otto went back to school this to try to achive a Master's Degree. He decided he wanted a change and wanted to teach at a college level.

Year 10
The boys are getting bigger and our house seems to be getting smaller. We moved to a bigger house this year and also moved to be closer to my mother who is not doing to well. Henry is very outgoing and is not scared to start a conversation with another child on the playground. He loves the outdoors and loves being active. He is a big handful. Eddie (Edward demands to be called Eddie now), on the other hand is not so outgoing. Whenever we take the boys to the playground he is always playing by himself while his brother goes off and plays with another child. Eddie is not as fond as the outdoors as Henry is, and prefers to be inside. He has a great imagination and loves playing pretend. He was just like me when I was a child and Henry's more like Otto. Both boys get along pretty well, though there are occasional arguments and tantrums.

Year 11
This year we had a great scare. Henry cought the flu around Christmas. After a week, it did not go away, so we took him to the doctor. They said he had pneumonia. He took medecations, but still didn't get better. He was throwing up a lot, eating nothing and drinking hardly anything. He had signs of severe dehydration. Henry became unconcious on the way to the emergency room. We were scared that we would lose him, but he held on. They treated him at the hospital and he came home. He had to rest for several weeks and it was very hard for him to rest when most of the time he just wanted to go outside and play. Eddie managed not to get sick and he was very happy because Henry could not go outside for a while after he got better so Eddie had someone to play pretend with. The boys grew closer together during this hard time of their life.

Year 12
This year, I gave birth to triplet girls - Rose Wilhelmina, Syliva Louise and Willow Grace. Rose and Sylvie are identical with straight brown hair and brown eyes, while Willow has straight blonde hair, green eyes and freckles. They are all adorable and the twins were thrilled to have babies to play with.

The boys have been begging for a pet for a long time now and since we have enough land, we bought a horse. The boys name him Herbert. They love riding on them. The girls love him too, esspecially Sylvie. Her first word was Bertie.

Now, with the kids getting older, we are able to travel easier. During the summer we took a trip to Mexico. All the kids - esspecially the boys - loved it.

We decided to add to our family, this time by adoption. We adopted a two year old girl from Vietnam. Her given name is An Lien. We changed her name to Annelie, but still call her An, which we spell Anne in English. We also added a second middle name to flow better, so now her name is Annelie Charlotte Lien. She is very cute with dark brown eyes and black hair. She is adjusting very well and the girls are happy to get a little sister.
