Help[Facts] Schóhen
The first year I went to camp my counselor's name was Schóhen but I could never remember how to pronounce her name. She wrote it down for me when she gave me her address so I'd know how it was spelled but I still don't know how to pronounce it!
So what I'd like to know is does anyone have any information on the name Schóhen, where it comes from, what it means, and most importantly how it's pronounced? It looks rather Gaelic to me like Siobhan or Sinead but it may be French or maybe German. Her married last name was Wing and she looked rather French.
If anyone can help or even hazzard a guess at how it's pronounce I'd be very grateful! Thank you!
