Neither KC nor Ruby were happy with the final baby names. It lead to resentment, which finally lead to divorce. Both were happier once out of the marriage. Much to Inigo and Maribel's dismay, Lark is pregnant and not even out of High School. She refuses to tell her parents who the father is, just stating that she "doesn't want him to be a part of her life period". Sebastian and Alice have adopted again. They realized that their family still wasn't complete, and just felt the urge to add to it. This time they adopted an older boy from the foster care system in their community. He's had a rough life, but is happy to try and settle into a loving and caring family. Of course, there are a few bumps, but nothing that can't be solved along the way. His FN/MN are both "ghetto", and he adopts the family surname as he wants nothing to do with his previous life/family.

Lian and Josie didn't quite know what to think when Hawksley told them he was gay. They loved him, and wanted to be supportive, but also were uncomfortable with the idea. This all came crashing home when Hawksley brought home his Dbf for dinner one night. This event made it real to Lian and Josie... and it also showed them how comfortable and happy Hawksley was with his "decision". While they still weren't happy about the fact, they could now accept it and be happy for their son in his life.
