Well, babynames.com tells us it's a "Combination of Aaron and Lyn".
I know, I know, that's a "baby names" website, but according to my experiences it usually makes sense, and "Combination of Aaron and Lyn" sounds like a pretty reasonable guess to me. Explains rather handily where the "AA" comes from, doesn't it?
I currently go through the ranks 500 to 1000 of the US 2009 hitparates to complete my own database, and because of names just like Aaralyn it's not that much fun: Many of the still missing names are "kreativ schpellings" or such combinations, which from an etymological point of view are rather boring...
