2015: This year marks the birth of the first child! On the 3rd August, Emily and Ethan welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Alice Josephine Rose, weighing 7lb 3oz, with blonde straight hair and green eyes.
2016: While researching for her newest book, author Emily needed to travel to France for two months. Since she couldn't bear to leave her 1-year-old daughter behind for so long, the whole family decided to take a long holiday to France!
2017: This year they adopted a baby girl from an orphanage which they visited during the holiday in France last year. Geneviève Elodie, nicknamed Evie, was only a few weeks old when they first met her in the orphanage but is now a bouncing 8-month-old, with curly blonde hair and hazel eyes. 2-year-old Alice loves having a baby sister!
2018: After a stressful year, Emily decided to give up work and become a full-time Mother for Alice and Evie.
2019: At the end of this year, Emily discovered that she was pregnant. In order to have space for the new arrival, the whole family upped-sticks and decided to move to a larger house in the suburbs.
2020: On 28th March, Emily gave birth to twin boys! Although the double arrival was surprising, the parents and older sisters were really excited to welcome identical twins Oscar Matthew Evan & Jasper Anthony James, both with brown straight hair and grey eyes.
2021: This year, Dad Ethan was in a serious car accident, breaking his spine. Doctors were worried that he may be unable to walk again, but with a lot of hard work and lots of support and encouragement from his family, Ethan recovered in record time. He has been offered 6 months of paid leave from work in order to recover.
2022: During Ethan's break from work, the family decide to take the opportunity to travel to Switzerland for a skiing holiday. Even though he wasn't allowed to ski, Ethan enjoyed watching his wife and children having a great time while he relaxed and drank beer!
2023: For months, 8-year-old Alice and 6-year-old Evie have been pestering their parents to buy them a dog. Coincidentally, one morning they discovered a stray puppy in their back garden and, after putting up a lot of "found" posters, nobody came to claim her and so Poppy the labrador joined the family!
2024: Emily and Ethan welcome their last child this year, a boy called Charles Ethan Michael. Charlie was born 2 weeks late and weighed over 10 pounds! He has straight blonde hair and blue eyes, just like his Mum. His big sisters and brothers, Alice, Evie, Oscar and Jasper, are all really excited!
