We live most of the year in Ottawa, where Curtis is a Liberal MP representing Winnipeg, Manitoba--which is where we spend the months Parliament is in recess. I work from home as an editor for an American romance novel publishing house. In 2011, we achieved our life-long dream of purchasing a home together in Winnipeg. In 2012, we celebrated Curtis's election to Parliament. In 2013, we adopted Curtis's 10-year-old English twin godsons, Aldous Martin "Aldo" and Nigel Rodney "Nige" Conway, when their parents were killed in a car wreck. In 2014, we finished the outdoor features (garden, treehouse, and deck) for our Winnipeg home. In 2015, we traveled to Berlin for a family vacation, staying in a rented apartment and exploring the city by bicycle. In 2016, anticipating the growth of our family, we moved from a small house in Ottawa to a much larger one. In 2017, I gave birth to triplet daughters, Gillian Esme, Betony Carlotta, and Aisha Page Hopkins. In 2018, we adopted 6-year-old Korean triplets, named Bi-ya, Yong-un, and Jun-hwan (a girl and two boys). In 2019, Curtis lost his fight for reelection, and we moved back to Winnipeg. In 2020, he started law school.
