One year later, the Lupins welcomed another daughter into their household. Little Gabrielle Hermione was named after Victoire's aunts, and as with her elder siblings, had to be differentiated by a nickname (in her case, Gaby). By then, Victoire insisted that there be no more children, to which Teddy readily agreed - they've quite a handful already with five, and already rivalling the elder Weasley generation!
Fleurette, ever the active girl, is getting prematurely excited in the prospect of going to Hogwarts. Again and again she would ask her father to describe the school life, or she would pester various friends and relatives to tell her all that happened during their time in school. She had a marked interest in the idea of having so many friends in school.
Remy, meanwhile, shows an interest in Muggle things, not unlike his great-grandfather Arthur. Of special interest to him were Muggle watches and clockwork, which he would pry open and stare at for long periods of time wordlessly. Then, after he understood all (or at least, all that his five-year-old mind could understand), he would rush to the others and exposit about the clock excitedly. He was clever, even for his age, and seems to have taken a liking to keeping his eyes a golden shade, for no apparent purpose but for the attention.
Sev is still the quietest by far, but he was not inactive. While he said little, he does possess the ability to speak relatively clearly, and it was obvious the reason he never said much was personal preference. He is very interested in anything and everything, as if the world was still a wonderland for him - he would watch Fleurette playing imaginary tales with her dolls, listen to Remy babble about clockwork, stare at Dora's still-volatile metamorphmaging - every little thing interests him. Victoire has said jokingly that while he seems to be observant, he's so quiet it'll be very easy to lose him in a pile of toys.
Dora is a happy baby, giggling and gurgling at sight of everything. She's especially fond of her father, perhaps due to relatively rarely seeing him ("absence makes the heart go fonder," Teddy once said, amazed), but she is closest - surprisingly - to Sev. Perhaps it was all the time he spent watching at her in the cradle. Perhaps it was the fact that he was gentlest and would neither spirit her away as Fleurette would or try to analyse her like Remy would. Perhaps it was nothing at all. But Dora is fond of her elder brother, and she showed it with the occasional bouts of controllable metamorphaging, imitating Sev and the things he owns.
