I recently fell in love with it! I think it's very quiet and unassuming, but has a handsome strength without being overbearing. Definitely qualifies as a classic in my book. It's strange, though, because I dislike my own name, which is Danielle, and yet I adore Daniel. I would never use it because of the similarity to my own name, however. But that's just me.

Also, I like Dan as a nickname, but not Danny, possibly because my entire family calls me Dani for short.
