Where I live, Sasha is now a motor racing journalist who started out as a rock DJ. So Sasha comes across as a guy who does his own thing but maybe tries a tad too hard.
That said, friends of mine adopted a stray cat (actually, it adopted them) and named it Sasha because it was Sasha nice cat ... gender unknown, btw.
