I love the name. Cordie looks better to me as a nickname than Cordy, but the sound is alright. I prefer Cora or Delia myself. Dellie sounds cute, but I can't get the deli counter out of my head. Thinking of other possible nicknames for which the sounds are present in Cordelia...
