I'm assuming one of the George's died young! My ancestors had a habit of reusing as well.

I see they used George twice and possibly Virginia twice as well.... That seems fairly common for that time period. I can't imagine naming one child the same first name as one who passed away though...

Yes, it appears so, from the data that Basil L. was born after Basil had died, the same goes for the Georges.
