It's nice, and does seem a little Italian sounding to me. I love the sound of
Raven, but the meaning turns me off (they're carrion birds, and definitely not too pretty up close). I think
Ravenna is too glamorous sounding to be a good compromise on
Raven, but as a city name it's okay. Maybe a little fanciful, if that's your style.
In real life a
Ravenna might turn into Rave, Ravie, or
Raven, among friends.
