I don't really like it, and I consider it more of a surname than a first name. I think I have seen someone called Diggory, but he was some kind of fat-cat tory guy who was on the news. I think he might even have been "sir" or "lord" Diggory something. So that's the impression I have: really posh and pretentious.

My impression was the opposite of yours. It makes me think of a Victorian chimney sweeper for some reason.
