My name is Holly Renee. My grandmother calls me Sally sometimes, for some reason. In high school I had my initials at the time, HRC, on my backpack, and from that a guy in my class started calling me Hector. Another guy used to call me Gunther, never really understood that one. A girl I've known since preschool nicknamed me Harvard when we were in middle school together, because I always got the best grades in class, and she still called me that up until we graduated from high school. (I did not go on to attend Harvard, to her disappointment.) Sometimes I get called Hollypop now because the first syllable of my last name is pop, and when things get really drunk and festive my friends call me Holiday, and those two are my favorite nicknames because frankly they make the most sense of all the nicknames I've ever had.

Aw, you have really sweet nicknames.I'm Joan Roseann:Joanie - most people call me this
Bony Joanie or Joanie Bony - horrible childhood nickname that has recently come back to haunt me by my niece
Joanie Balogna - another horrible childhood nickname, thank goodness it hasn't come back
JoanJoan
Jaja - another nickname my niece calls me
Rosie
Peanut
Buttons - Started in 9th grade when I accidentally burned myself with a hair straightener, making two triangle shaped burns (one pointing up, the other down). Everyone said they looked like elevator buttons
Vidor
Joan-Ay
Tony - When my friend introduced me to her boyfriend he thought my name was Tony, so that was a nickname I had for awhile

My name is Erin Michelle. I usually go by Erin, but some close friends call me E or Rin. Also, my mother used to call me Erry Berry and Sweet pea as a young child. My brother thought it was funny to call me Airhead as a child because of the response I'd give him. The only thing that drives me crazy about my name is that people often spell it like the male version Aaron when I tell them my name. Also, some people do not know how to pronounce my name at first. I find that very strange.

Other than the normal Jenny and Jen...
Carmen was my Spanish name in high school.
Tatiana/ Tanya was my Russian name in high school and college.
Jessica was my French name in high school. (Jessica's was Jennifer. I don't think we look that much alike.)
Marie (MAR ee uh) was my Czech name (Czech pron.) I was Marie (mah REE, my mn) in college because there were so many Jennifers. Also Maria in Spanish and Masha when I was in Moscow.
LoriJennyStephieSue- Mom yelled at all four of us for being too loud in the car, and our names came out like that. It didn't really help. We had to laugh at that.
Suzy- and my sister was Jenny.

My daughter is Abigail Elise and her nicknames are Abby, Pumpkin, Princess & Pumpky. And when she was first born I called her Little Miss but have shortened it to just Miss.
My one aunt will call me Kell's bells. She has nicknames for almost all her nieces & nephews (no kids of her own). Nicole is Nick at Night, Megan is Megara, Ryan is Ry-guy, Carrie is Carebear, Kaitlyn was Baby Kate (after the baby on Arthur; she was the youngest cousin) and my sister is Brr-nay after her middle name of Renee (no idea what the spelling would be).

I have a lot of nicknames too. It seems like each person has a different nickname for me! Sam - For the most part, I go by this name. Sometimes, I wish my parents would have just named me Sam. No frills.Sammy - Only people who are very, very close to me are allowed to call me this name. A strange pet peeve of mine is being called "Sammy" by someone I've just met. Sama/SamaLlama - My best friend calls me this name (based on the song "Rama Lama Ding Dong" by the Edsels)SCIGs - My dad calls me this name (based on my initials).Sammer the Hammer - My soccer nickname that my dad created, because when I was very young, if I didn't get my way, I would bang my fist on the table, as if it were a hammer. It's fitting for soccer because I have a very explosive kick. George - One day, my cousin Megan and I were playing the game "Guess Who", and I had a character called "George" and she had one called "Jon". We started calling each other these names, our "secret" names. Our family thought it was cute, and eventually, we gave all the women in our family male names and all the men female names. We were weird kids. xDOne-shot [lastname] Jr. - My dad's nickname is One-shot [lastname] because he's a really good hockey goalie, and since I'm a goalie too, his hockey friends call me this name.SammyJo - My whole family often calls me this name, especially my favourite cousin, Adam. It's a reference to the “Dynasty” character, Samantha Josephine. G-Unit - My history class nickname. My last name starts with a "G", and I did this infamous rap for a project once, soooo the teacher started calling me "Sammy G", which then spawned into "G-Unit", and it caught on.

I'm Katie, too! Full name Katherine Marie. I really don't have many nicknames - my grandma calls me Kates sometimes (no idea why I'm plural), my great Aunt used to call me Katherina (as a way to "italian-ize" my name, though I believe the proper Italian form is Caterina), and in high school some people called me Fi (first syllable of my last name) to distinguish me for the other Katies. There are three over Katies in my cube cluster right now, and one in the next cube cluster over -- kinda wish I was going by Fi again! I keep ignoring people when they address me because I've been tuning out my own name, ha.

I'm called Chlo, Chloistina, Chlois, Chloris, Krissie-Chloe and "Miss Chloe" (a supercute Filipino lady at work calls me this) and occasionally Cleo.Nobody calls you Katie-Lou?? That's what I'd call you in a red hot minute.

I used to get "Miss Erin" from a ballet teacher. I was the only one she would use "Miss" with. I always wondered why. :-)

I think it's so fun how nicknames for your family members evolve. My favorite from your list is Lulubelle. It's totally cutesy, and I can see how your mother (I'm guessing) derived it from your middle name.My name is Shannon, so not much you can do with that. My mom calls me Shanny sometimes, which I've never been a huge fan of. I have some friends online who "call" me Shan, which I don't mind.My son's name is Benjamin (he's almost 3), and for the most part he's called Ben. But at some point awhile ago for a few months he always called himself Benji, and so that stuck for a bit. Some family members still mostly call him Benji. There was also a point when he was a baby that I ended up calling him BenBen a lot, but that seems too babyish for him now. He was also called Turnip before he was born and on occasion for the first year or so afterwards.Like I said, it's neat how nicknames come up. This is why I don't place too much emphasis and figuring out which nn I'd like to use if we ever have a daughter, who we plan to name Margaret. I figure something will just click.

I recently heard the name Benno which I think is a great nickname for Benjamin. We have a dog named Benny and I've started to call him Benno now. I also call him Benjamin (because sometimes it's just nicer to have a longer name) Benjamino (ben-JA-mino, not ben-ja-MINO), BenBen and Benny Boo.

Benno is kind of cute. I'm not really one for the -o nicknames, not sure why. And hey, someone else who came up with BenBen. :)
