I LOVE the name Piper! It's so fresh and interesting!

I like it in the mn spot. Ruby Piper is a combo that I like.

Sounds trendy - for me a negative
Sounds whimsical - for me a negative
Sounds cute, in a nicknamey way. I would see it much better as a nickname than a full name. But all I can come up with for full names is Philippa. Hm. Not totally sold.

I like it. I wouldn't use it, but I think it's cute.

Growing up I thought Piper Laurie, the actress, had the cutest name. So I do see the spunky appeal of Piper.

I think it's kind of spunky. Unfortunately, it was the last name of a girl with whom I used to go to school, and suffice it to say, she ruined this name for me. Cute on someone else's kid though!

I don't see the appeal though. I think of the Pied Piper whenever I hear it and that isn't feminine, fun or whimsical to me.

To be honest, I think it's really silly. I can understand the happy fun sounding name appeal, but it would be hard for me to take seriously.

I like it well enough. It still makes me think of the TV show "Charmed" - one of the characters was Piper. I think its a little offbeat without being completely weird. Kinda cute. Generally feminine, but it could be unisex, and I do like the unisex aspect. Not a favorite, either, though.
