[Opinions] Aubrey
What do you think of the name Aubrey? What do you think of it on a boy? The name is all masculine to me. I'm sad that it's been used on so many girls these days. Anyway, would you care to share some Aubrey combos (male only)? :D TIA!

I think Aubrey sounds much more feminine. It is common for girls, and not even in the top 1000 for boys. I would stray from it, just in case he gets teased for having a girls name.

I prefer the Aubrey spelling on a boy. The female Aubrey I knew (very sweet girl) spelled it Aubrie, which I kinda like on a girl.

I prefer Aubrey on a boy, but it works either way for me. Its quite a striking name, though, for a boy. It just has a spark! For a girl, I find it merely passable - I don't object, but it doesn't excite me.Aubrey Castor
Aubrey Percival
Aubrey Tristan
Aubrey Xavier

It's not a name that crosses my mind ever, but now that you've brought it up, I have to say that I like it a lot! Only on a boy, as far as I'm concerned. The girls can have Audrey.

I'm glad you like it. :) And yes I've always thought parents should name their daughters Audrey instead of Aubrey. Leave Aubrey to the boys. Haha.

My grandmother is named Audrey, and her twin brother was Aubrey. They were born in the 20s. :)I'm now expecting girl/boy twins and I'd love to honor them by using their names, but yeah, it seems all the Aubrey's you hear of these days are girls. :\

I know one and he's lovely, so I'm quite fond of it. The idea of it on a girl is completely silly to me; it just looks like the giver really wanted Audrey, but can't write the letter 'd' properly. :p

I wish I knew a male Aubrey, or had even ever heard of one around where I live. Alas, no such luck. And exactly, parents already have Audrey as a female choice. They should just leave Aubrey to the boys. Haha. I likeAubrey Noel
Aubrey Roger
Aubrey Mortimer - Darkly handsome. :D
Aubrey Reuel - Reminds me of Tolkien, who I love so yay.

I like it. It makes me think of a sweet, shy, soft-spoken blond young peasant in the Middle Ages who's very content working in the field. But he secretly is brave and has mad archery skills. My name for that guy is Aubrey Somerled.

I don't mind it so much on girls if it's their middle name. :)I like Aubrey Heath and Aubrey Cole.

I kind of like Aubrey on a girl (although I prefer the spelling Aubrie better), but I don't think I'd use it on a boy. Actually, I don't really think i'll ever use it, on a boy or girl. Just isn't my kind of name.

I don't think it looks or sounds feminine either! It is similar to Audrey, but it's traditionally been a masculine name. I think it should stay that way. I don't think it suits girls very well.I likeAubrey Edward
Aubrey Jonah
Aubrey Lewis - Tweaked the spelling. :)

I'm not a huge fan & I don't really like it on either gender. I think if your going to use it though, use it on a boy. I know you didn't ask, but I LOVE the name Audrey for a girl, like Audrey Hepburn. Aubrey Cade

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. :) I didn't really like the name Aubrey either until I read a book with a male Aubrey in it. For some reason, I don't like Audrey at all, but I do like Audra. The first syllable is very close to 'odd', which makes me dislike it a bit, I guess.I likeAubrey Cade - Love it! So handsome. :)
Aubrey Todd Your combo of Aubrey Ronald made me think of Aubrey Roland, which I really like. :D
