I go by my full name, I detest Mandy. The only nickname I ever go by is Meena and only my parents call me that (it's a long story as to how Meena came about). A lot of my friends call me Manda, but that's just because they're too lazy to pronounce the first A. Ive been toying around with the idea of going by Amy once I get to college to kind of start fresh, but I think my name is my name and it makes me who I am. My parents named me Amanda Rose, but here's other possibilities my mom and dad had thought up:

My mom also told me that she had considered naming me Megan, and I'm glad she didn't. I hate that name. My dad also wanted to name me Shaniqua after his childhood friend
