When Eli turned six, Wil and Bekah started looking into adoption. Their older kids all agreed that they would be all right with adopting a new brother or sister into the family. Six months ago, Wil and Bekah finished processing the paperwork for their new children--fourteen year old Annie and her one year old son, Denver. Annie had been removed from her family after her father admitted to having sexual relations with Annie. Denver was the result of their relationship. Fortunately, Denver is a healthy child, and Annie has requested that Wil and Bekah raise him as their own.
Catie, now eighteen, is all set for college. She is fulfilling her dream of becoming a teacher and attending a college well known for its education program. Darcy has been busy playing soccer and running cross country in high school. Sometimes his schoolwork suffers, but he's very happy. Justice is twelve now. He still has a passion for science, particularly related to aeronautics and airplanes. Violet is in sixth grade. She is the quietest child in the Thompson family, but very bright. Eli is nine. He is active, like his older brother, but prefers unconventional sports like karate and horseback riding.
