[Opinions] Re: Maud

I like it spelt Maude. But either way, I like to see it revived! I admit I wouldn't want to be a young Maud myself, but it's cool for someone else's child.
It's so hard to find middle names that flow with 1-syllable first names. But you've worked it with Alexandra, because it's so long. You could also try ...
Maud Ambrosia
Maud Eliana
Maud Emmanuelle
Maud Peninnah (But mind, Peninnah Maude sounds much nicer.)
Maud Octavia
You could even take a twist on Alexandra, like Alexandria, Alexandrina :-)
Definitely go with typically 'pretty', since Maud isn't that.

I agree that finding MNs for one-syllable FNs is a difficult task. I love the name Rose and outside of Elizabeth, I couldn't find any other names that I liked as MNs.
Maud Ambrosia sounds interesting. I'll have to keep that one in mind. I've never shown Ambrosia much interest before, but I'm kind of liking it here.
I like Maud Penina (I prefer this spelling. I tend to like that short and sweet versions :)). That could definitely work.
