[Opinions] Clint
Does this name remind you too much of NASCAR and Gun-filled movies? Is there anything else that is not good about the name?

I love it. It was my older brother's name who passed away and in the running for my future son, if not a first name, it will most definitely be in the middle.

It is too nicknamey & blunt for me.

Not so much Nascar, but definitely gun-filled movies and country music. I don't like it, but it does have a simple, down-to-earth country feel that's kind of nice in context.

I don't know anything about Nascar so I'm good there... but it does make me think "Eastwood". Which is not a bad thing. If one needs a dusty, stoic, damaged-good-guy name, look no furthern than Clint. I don't mind it.

Actually, it reminds me of Clint Eastwood, a la 'The Good, The Bad, The Ugly'. Very rugged western-esque to me. Not that it's a bad thing though.

Funnily enough, I've had this name in my mind as well, and wanted to post about it. I really associated it with Clint Eastwood, but that's not a bad association to me since I like some of the movies he directed. I like the shape and feel of Clint, but it's a bit nicknamey.

I agree with you. It sounds like the name of a NASCAR-loving redneck. And it reminds me of the Clintons.

It reminds me too much of a certain part of female anatomy.

I don't think of Nascar or any movie.
I think of the word "clit".
Sorry.
For what it's worth, I don't get the association with Clinton. Then I only think of the male host on What Not to Wear (and then later, the president).
