[Opinions] Re: Which is better for twins?
in reply to a message by Noreen
My vote goes to "Your top 2/3/4, etc names". I wouldn't do anything special if I were having multiples. I'd treat naming them just as I would naming any other (singleton) child of mine. I wouldn't say these are 'random', though.
If two of my top 3 rhyme (and I'm having triplets), I'd knock one out and pick my 4th favourite instead of one of the rhyming ones.
If two of my top name happen to start with the same letter, I wouldn't be bothered with that.
I wouldn't intentionally pick names with the same meaning, but if they do mean the same thing, I would only use them if they weren't from the same root (ie: Elizabeth and Isabel are a definite 'no', Alma & Enid? Sure!
Same letters but reversed, only if they were names I would pick if I had two singletons.
Are we supposed to vote on your names, or do our own "If you had to pick rhyming names..." kind of thing?
From your names, I really like Sabrina, Heather, Marina, Helene; Paul, Theodore, Raphael.
