[Opinions] Odette
Wdyt? I am really loving this

Seems like a fine name to me.
I love it too. I saw Swan Lake part of the way through reading Proust's Swann's Way and so the character from the ballet and that from the novel are intermingled in my mind. The latter has many flaws but I still have a soft spot for her.

I like it but I don't think that I will ever use it.
I've liked it since I was a little girl. It reminds me a lot of Ophelia, but without the connotations, and also reminds me of The Swan Princess (where I got the name from) which I love.
It's not a favorite of mine, but it is one of my sister's favorite. It's on her top 10 list if she ever has a little girl.

I prefer Odile to Odette. Odette sounds like a pampered princess; Odile is a little "dirty", but in a good way.
I like it but, as Swan Lake names go, I much prefer Odile.

Ditto
I can't really explain it, but I definitely prefer Odile to Odette.

I'm not really a big fan of the -ette's. There a few I want to like: Josette and Lisette, for example, but something always holds me back. I think I like the -etta's a bit better.
Of all the -ette's, I put Odette in the bottom third. Maybe it's the od- part that is associated only with odour in my mind. Sorry, not much help.
On a sidenote: every time I read something you've posted I admire your nephew's name. I think Philip Arno is a great combo. I also really like Brenna.

I like it, especially as a middle name. It's clearly feminine, but not overly frilly.
It's not my style, but it's okay.
Aww, I kind of like it. The first thing I think of is Swan Lake. ♥
I like it, but not as much as other "O" names like Ottilia.
I love it as well! It's beautiful.
