[Opinions] Cameron for a girl...
I'm almost liking this. It's a little different than my regular taste. I like really traditional and classic names. I don't think I would ever name my own daughter this, but it sounds kinds cool as in Camer Diaz. A unique twist. WDYT?

I like it, but I wouldn't call it unique

Cameron means "crooked nose" therefore i would not name a pretty little girl this, i'd leave this name to the boys even though it's nms.

I like this too but it really reminds me of Cameron Diaz. Not necessarily a bad thing, I like Cameron Diaz, but I think the name is very tied to her.Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Nothing unique about ln-as-fnCameron *sounds* ok but to me origin and history are just as important as the sound. And I don't like surnames or boy's names which have been popular for girls b/c celebreties (Cameron, Drew, Reese etc).I'll take a classic feminine name like Camilla, Camille, Carmel or Carmen any day."But it’s all right now.

I strongly dislike names that are unisex. I don't understand why parents would want to set their children up for the possibility of gender confusion every time someone reads out their child's name.

My four year old girl cousin is named Cameron-she is the cutest little thing. The name really grew on me after she was born.

Sorry, but Cameron (however you spell it) is NMS for a girl (I prefer Cameron as a boy's name).

I like it. Cameron for boys is chronically popular where I live, but very rare on girls. (We don't have Camryn and Kamryn either, but I'm grateful for that!)Cameron, original spelling, is sweet and unusual for a girl :-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
