Florian and Delphine are extremely displeased with the uprising against King Leopold. Delphine was nervous that there would be mass violence, she has heard of plots and ploys to protest the king. Florian try's not to pay much attention to the gossip that flys around down.
Clementine on the other hand has been up to her tricks and obviously ambitious in her aims. She has been sleeping with rebels and very much supports those who are behind Prince Phillipe. Clementine works hard to keep her various affairs from her sister and brother in law. Clementine knows where her sisters loyaltys lie but also knows she is probe to gossip. Delphi spent most of her time occupied with the new baby and although Clementines purpose was to be governess Delphi has barely depart Maëlys is side. Delphi has even stopped her visits to the marketplace to purchase jewelry in fear of rebel uprising.
